Gorski Engineering was the Design-Builder of the repurposing of a former Wal-Mart store in Horsham, PA. This entertainment venue consists of two quarter-mile racetracks for electric race karts. The project also includes two conference rooms, two party rooms, a catering area, five offices, a state-of-the-art simulator training area, a merchandise area, a photo-finish area, and a model slot car track area.
Following the completion of this project, Gorski designed and built another Speed Raceway in Cinnaminson, NJ.
Gorski Engineering self-performed 48% of the work.
This project won an Associated Builders and Contractors National Excellence in Construction Eagle Award in 2012.
