This project was the renovation of one of the country’s first Levitz Furniture stores in Pottstown, PA. VideoRay, a leading manufacturer of computer-controlled underwater cameras, wanted to retain the character of the old building while gaining modern research, manufacturing, testing, and office space. This project included a 5,500-gallon concrete and glass test tank, designed and constructed by Gorski Engineering personnel. Gorski also field-designed the custom office enclosures.
Gorski Engineering self-performed 45% of the work.
This project won an Associated Builders and Contractors National Excellence in Construction Pyramid Award in 2014.
